Apparel llc from Dubai came down for recruitment, A retailer of aspirational brands of footwear and apparels. Profile was Floor manager, operations, Buying etc. Package was negotiable. 30 guys opted to sit through the selection process. PI was conducted.
As profile was for Dubai, lot of apprehension cropped up... Bondage labour, Passport being taken away, Bond being signed for 2/3 years, Culture shock of a Muslim country, Cost of living, right salary to quote etc...
Profile was Ok, general that you can expect from a retailer. We quoted in the bracket of 3 to 4 in Indian standards. Although most of the expenses is being taken care of by the employer, like accomodation, pick up and drop facility, International labour laws being applied etc. It is to be seen, how many guys will be selected when the results come.
My fate also will be determined once the results come...
